The false killer whale (Psuedorca crassidens) is a dolphin that lives in temperate and tropical waters around the world. It shares characteristics, such as appearance, with the more widely known Orca. Like the Orca, it attacks and kills other cetaceans.
A false killer whale and a bottlenose dolphin have mated in captivity and produced a fertile calf. The hybrid offspring has been called a "wholphin".
